Receiver

The receiver is a player that runs routes for the quarterback to throw the ball to. He can run many different routes. The quarterback can throw the ball to him but he has to be open. he can also block for a runner so the ball can be moved up field. A receiver needs to be able to get away from the defender so he can catch the ball. I play as a receiver and i have one touchdown this year and i wasn’t supposed to get the ball on that play. the quarterback overthrew the ball and i caught it behind the intended receiver. After i caught the ball i almost fell. My freshman year, we had a good team and we made it to the playoffs and we lost the first game. we got to ride on a nice bus on the way there and back. The team was 6 and 3. We did suffer some losses with in the season. there where a few different injuries and the team needed the players.
